   I can't speak for the commercial side of BCBS but I've worked for Horizon NJ Health for over a year and this place is an absolute nightmare. The company slogan should read "One bad business decision after another" I don't usually feel compelled to write bad reviews but I feel its necessary in this case. Consider this fair warning to perspective employees- turn and run while you can. Expectations are totally unrealistic. Nevermind the rampant mysogony. have I been in a professional setting and felt so uncomfortable or been on the receiving end of so many sexist comments from someone in a leadership role.

   Great company to work for. Its a big company so cant go wrong. Good pay medium work and many employee perks.

   Good vacation time and holidays. You have the ability to work from home and it's near to Newark Penn Station if you don't want to drive in Newark.

   Limited opportunity for advancement, management not great and the pay is low. They seem to favor and promote the wrong people to management.

   They careless about the employees. Does not promote within organization or departments. Untrained and unknowledgeable mangers and supervisors. Talent is running out the door or retiring immediately. Work has double or tripled due employees leaving. Employees are miserable but need to work.

   Cons

   Horizon is moving there employees around to different dept because of a recent change in the company. The employees have no say in this and are very frustrated. some of these employees are work from home and can not afford to go back in the office of course horizon does not care . Employees were informed by email on this decision to replace them into different dept and was giving 24 hours to decide. Only 24 hours !!!! Thanks Horizon for showing your employees that you are all for them by not listening to their cries and frustrations ! Thank you !!!
